My name is Heather Rushing. Ive been doodling probably since I could first hold a pencil and have in my 24 years learned to love graphite, charcoal, oil paints, and pastels.

As for actual training and education, I am currently persuing my BFA in Art Education from UTA, and will graduate with the year. After that I will continue on through my MFA so that I may be able to further expand on the training and experience I am receiving now. True art is a combination of not only natural talent and ability, but also hard work, tireless effort and dedication as well.  One must have both to fully understand and appreciate all that goes into a work of art.
